Our Christmas window display – Elf on the Shelf
One of the main things that we take pride in doing is trying to constantly change and update the window display in accordance to the time of the year or a particular event. We have displayed everything from The World Cup, The Winter Olympics, The Royal Wedding, Easter, The Radcliffe Carnival Theme, Wimbledon, The Tour of Britain and many more. However, no display is more important to us that the Christmas window! After creating a winter wonderland in the window last Christmas we have decided this year to give the kids something fun to enjoy and will base it around the new phenomenon of The Elf on the Shelf!
The Elf on the Shelf is a new fun-filled Christmas tradition that has captured the hearts of children everywhere who all now have one of their very own Elves. The magical Elves help Santa manage his naughty and nice lists by taking note of the child’s every move and reports back to Santa every night before returning to the house prior to the kids waking up. Each morning, the Elf will find itself in a new spot surrounded by evidence of a mischievous night! For example, they may be sitting in a box of Roses Chocolates with wrappers all over the place or in the toilet with a full roll of unravelled loo roll at the side of them, you get the jist! Kids have great fun waking up and racing around the house looking for their Elf and working out what the Elf has been up to!
We have therefore decided to give the kids a fun and playful window during the festive period so keep an eye out for what our very own Elves have been up to the night before!
