Patient records for Twynings Opticians in Bingham transferred to Lesley Cree

Due to personal reasons, Twynings Opticians in Bingham based on Union Street closed its doors for a final time in October having agreed to transfer all patient records to Lesley Cree Opticians based in Radcliffe on Trent.

Twynings was owned by Gillian Twyning who has as been operating in Bingham for six years. Commenting she said ”I was very keen to ensure I provided some continuity of care to my patients and I would like to thank them for their loyalty and custom over the years. I am sure they will be very happy in the care of Lesley Cree.”

Lesley Cree worked as an optometrist in the Bingham area before setting up her own independent practice in July 2012 located opposite the Co-op in the centre of Radcliffe on Trent. It provides NHS, private and contact lens appointments and all eye examinations include a free digital retinal photograph to detect and monitor many eye conditions.

Commenting Lesley added, “Our practice prides itself on offering a quality and personal service to all patients, and we are one of only a handful of practices in the Nottinghamshire area to have attained Level 2 accreditation for enhanced ophthalmic services. ”

Working alongside Lesley is a team of eye care specialist which includes Ruth Bennett MSc MCOptom who was a senior optometrist at QMC, and Niamh Pearce FBDO dispensing optician who is also well known locally.

All Twynings patients have will be informed personally and invited to visit the practice for an eye assessment and introductory offer.
